Why Mantelkin

What Sets Our Approach Apart

Participant-Led Structure

The educator provides structure and prompts; the output belongs entirely to the participant. Nothing is produced on the participant's behalf.

No Pressure, No Advice

Workshops are educational and organisational. We do not advise on family matters, financial decisions, or anything that requires a qualified specialist.

Small Groups, Real Focus

Group sessions are kept small so each participant can work through materials at a comfortable pace with space for questions.

Take-Home Materials

Every workshop includes printed materials — templates, reference guides, or handbooks — designed for continued use at home after the session ends.

Personal Data Stays Private

The Household Reading Workshop uses only sample documents with personal data removed. No participant's actual papers are handled or analysed in any session.

Paced to Suit the Household

From a single appointment to a six-week program, the format is chosen by the participant. There is no standard pace that everyone must follow.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

What exactly happens in a workshop?
Workshops are structured learning sessions. The educator explains, demonstrates with sample materials, and provides prompts. Participants work through their own thinking with that structure as a guide. No one tells you what to do with your records — that remains your decision entirely.
Do I need to bring documents to the session?
For the Family Map Session and Household Coordination Program, bringing a rough sense of your household's structure is helpful — but not required. The Household Reading Workshop works entirely with sample documents we provide; no participant papers are needed or reviewed during that session.
Are these workshops a substitute for professional advice?
No. Mantelkin workshops are educational and organisational. They do not replace legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. When a topic during a session calls for a qualified specialist, we will say so clearly and point you toward appropriate channels.
How many people attend a group session?
The Household Reading Workshop is kept to a small group — typically four to eight participants — so that the pace feels manageable and there is room for individual questions. The Family Map Session and Household Coordination Program are one-to-one or household-specific formats.
What is the cost, and is it paid in full upfront?
Workshop costs are ฿7,200 for the Family Map Session, ฿19,200 for the Household Reading Workshop, and ฿31,000 for the six-week Household Coordination Program. Payment arrangements are discussed during the enquiry stage and confirmed before your first session.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions take place at our space in Phra Khanong Nuea, Wattana, Bangkok. If you have a specific accessibility need or are based elsewhere in the city, please mention it when you enquire and we will see what arrangements can be made.
How do I know which workshop is right for me?
A short conversation with us will help clarify that. The Family Map Session suits people who want an overview; the Household Reading Workshop suits those who feel uncertain about household papers; the six-week program suits households wanting a fuller structural review over time. Send an enquiry and we can talk it through.
