These terms set out the basis on which Mantelkin offers its workshops and the basis on which participants attend. Please read them before booking. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
1. About Mantelkin
Mantelkin is an educational workshop provider operating from 137 Pridi Banomyong 41, Phra Khanong Nuea, Wattana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand. We offer household communication and records workshops for adults. Our services are educational and organisational in nature. Nothing we provide constitutes legal, financial, accounting, medical, or any other form of professional advice.
2. Educational Scope
All Mantelkin workshops are educational only. This means:
- Educators provide structure, prompts, and general information about household record-keeping and communication — not advice specific to a participant's individual circumstances.
- Workshop materials (sample documents, reference guides, templates) are for educational use and do not constitute legal, financial, or other professional documents.
- Where a participant's situation appears to require the involvement of a qualified specialist — such as a solicitor, accountant, or financial adviser — the educator will note this. Mantelkin does not make referrals and is not responsible for the participant's decisions regarding specialist engagement.
- Participants retain full responsibility for their own household decisions, records, and administrative matters.
3. Booking and Payment
- Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received in full.
- Prices are stated in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Current prices: Family Map Session ฿7,200 · Household Reading Workshop ฿19,200 · Household Coordination Program ฿31,000.
- Mantelkin reserves the right to adjust prices for future bookings. The price confirmed at booking applies to that booking.
- Payment methods accepted are confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Cancellation by participant — more than 7 days before the first session: full refund, less any payment processing fees.
- Cancellation by participant — 3 to 7 days before the first session: 50% refund.
- Cancellation by participant — fewer than 3 days before the first session: no refund, unless Mantelkin is able to fill the place from a waiting list, in which case a 50% refund will be issued.
- Rescheduling by participant: one reschedule is permitted at no charge if requested at least 48 hours before the session. Further rescheduling requests are subject to a rescheduling fee of ฿500.
- Cancellation by Mantelkin: in the event we cancel a session, participants will receive a full refund or an offer to reschedule at no additional cost.
5. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to:
- Treat educators and other participants with courtesy.
- Attend sessions punctually. Sessions begin at the scheduled time; late arrivals will join at the current point.
- Not record sessions (audio or video) without prior written consent from Mantelkin.
- Not share workshop materials (handouts, reference guides, templates) outside of their own household without prior written consent.
Mantelkin reserves the right to end a participant's involvement in a workshop if their conduct is disruptive or disrespectful. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
6. Workshop Materials
Materials provided during workshops — including printed templates, reference guides, and household map sheets — are for the personal educational use of the participant and their household. They remain the intellectual property of Mantelkin. Participants may adapt and use them for their own household purposes. Reproduction for commercial use, distribution to others, or publication in any form requires prior written permission from Mantelkin.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law:
- Mantelkin accepts no liability for decisions made by participants on the basis of information received in a workshop.
- Mantelkin accepts no liability for outcomes arising from a participant's failure to consult a qualified specialist when one was needed.
- Mantelkin's total liability to any participant for any claim arising from a workshop shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the relevant workshop.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.
8. Privacy
The collection and use of personal data by Mantelkin is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
